Who's Looking Out for Us

More than ever we need to be aware of what we're eating and where it comes from. Health Canada is rather occupied by large businesses rather than our health. The truth is that chronic diseases are on the rise more than ever before, reaching epidemic levels, like cancer, obesity and heart disease. Much of this can be traced right back to what we eat and how we nourish ourselves. So be aware, be concious of what you're consuming and choose fuel and nutrients over disease causing junk. Research things like growth hormones and their relation to cancer. In Europe they've banned all beef growth hormones and non-therapeutic antibiotic uses in any animal being produced for food.

Try adding curcumin (found in tumeric) for cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer's because of it's strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Also research supports that with B3 supplementation can cut non-melanoma skin cancers can be cut by 23%*vitality magazine July/August 2015.

If you live in the city, chances are there's a great organic delivery service available to you providing fresh organic fruits, veg and meats.

Did you know? Studies have linked adult diseases to childhood use of antibiotics.

Holiday Giving & Well, Giving in General

As I sit here feeling humbled tonight with heavy shoulders that I do intend to give to God, shoulders strapped full of hurting people, of those tired and weary. Of those neglected from their peers, sometimes, often, us. What makes someone inferior? How could we possibly think such things right, but wait, how else do we explain what the heck is going on.

Look to the person in your room right now. Is there anything you wouldn't do for them? You want them to like you and you quite like them I'm almost sure. If not well, this doesn't hurt as the theory is the same. Love trumps all- or at least it should and that's what we're going to talk about.

Unless we serve others, there will be a continual gap in our lives, in our thankfulness and quite frankly in our joy. And trust me I'm no preacher, just someone who forgot what it was like to truly serve, and in return learned how it felt to be ultimately, selfish. There's even a link from judging others and one's o…

The oldest migrations out of Africa are said to have inhabited New Guinea over 40,000 years ago. New Guinea is a richly biodiverse country housing up to 10% of the world's species (similar to Australia) including 37 species from the birds of paradise and is divided into two political entities, the west and the east. Most practice agriculture and hunting and gathering. Before the arrival of the Europeans, New Guinea was made up of various kingdoms that paid the Majaphait tribute. After the Spanish and Portuguese discovered the island in the 16th century, they named it Nueva Guinea and Western Guinea became a colony of the Dutch East Indies, with Ger…
